Leigh Brockwell Obituary

Leigh D'Lane Brockwell, 55, passed away from this life quickly due to colon and liver cancer on November 25, 2020 in Kerrville. She only received her diagnosis 2 months ago and was consumed with doctors appointment and hospital visits. D'Lane is now with our Father in Heaven. She believed and loved the Lord.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1965 in Del Rio to the late Floyd Dean Brockwell and Wilma Lois Pearson. D'Lane graduated high school in Del Rio and attended beauty school. Most of D'Lane adult life, she worked as a health care worker. Her greatest passion in life was being an artist. She could paint or draw anything. She had a great talent for it and was very gifted.

D'Lane was survived by her son, John Dean Ozuna of San Antonio; brother, John W. Brockwell; sister, April Brockwell Marek; niece, Natalie Brockwell; uncle/aunt Kenneth and Maureen Jenke and their daughter, Emily Jenke; uncle, Fred Brockwell; cousin, Kevin Brockwell and Blair Brockwell; ex husband, Juan Ozuna.

A memorial service will be planned in the springtime in Del Rio.
