Linda Bowles Obituary

Linda Kaye Connor Bowles, 70, passed away on September 17, 2022, at her home in Kerrville, TX. She left this life surrounded by love with her husband, son, and daughter at her side.

Linda was born in Kentucky on March 7, 1952. She was raised in Fairfield, California and graduated from Armijo High School in the Class of 1970. She married Cary Richard Bowles on June 14, 1970, in Reno, Nevada. She became a Navy wife and lived in many places throughout Cary’s Navy service time and work in the industry. They lived in many different places including Charleston, SC; Saratoga Springs, NY; Lynchburg, VA; and Kerrville, TX.

Linda was a talented teacher of ceramics and owner of her own ceramic studio in New York. She made many friends and was known for her kindness and sweet personality.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Tommie Connor of Fairfield, CA.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Cary Bowles of Kerrville,TX; devoted children, Richard and Heather Bowles of Knightdale, NC and Amy and Dan Weekley of Pasadena, MD; her beloved grandson John Weekley of Pasadena, MD, grandson Tristen Tennant and great grandson, Cooper Tennant. Her sister Jennifer Gardner and brother John Connor of Fairfield, CA and sister Lisa Reid of Fort Wayne, IN, and her best friends and Godparents to her children Fred and Reisa Pentz of Kerrville, TX.

The family express their gratitude for the outstanding care that Linda received at the Peterson Regional Medical Center, the River Hills Health and Rehabilitation facility, and from Peterson Hospice. Upon her request, Linda was cremated and did not want any services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you donate to a charity of your choice.
