Loretta A. Doerr, 89, of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2026.
Loretta was born on November 28, 1936, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Stephanie and Charles Rembish. She married the love of her life, Carl Doerr, on March 2, 1957, in Stamford, Connecticut. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and dedication.
Before settling in Fredericksburg in 1976, Loretta lived in El Paso, Texas. She spent over 20 years working as a court reporter, a career that reflected her strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Loretta was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and traveling. Her fondest memories were made during Christmas celebrations spent surrounded by her family. She often said her greatest accomplishments in life were being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Skip Doerr, Lori Borders, and Kim Morales (Coy); her grandchildren, Trevor, Nancy, Scott, Megan, Michael, Amanda, Jennifer, Eryn, Chris, and Ty; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
