Lucy Mildred (Barrick) Annon
Obituary
Lucy Mildred Annon, 88, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2023 at her home in Kerrville.
She was born Oct. 02, 1934, in Craig, Colorado to Leona E. (Depue) and George D. Barrick Sr. Lucy married Francis Edward Annon on October 07, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. They built a life most recently in Grand Junction, Colorado and then moved to Mountain Home, Texas in 2014. In Lucy’s professional life, she was a tax consultant for over 25 years for H&R Block.
She freely gave of her time to volunteer with the VFW and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Women’s Circle. Lucy was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Annon (2019); and siblings, George Dean Barrick Jr., Frances E. Kiser and Virginia D. Hurlburt.
Lucy is survived by her sister, Gladys Smith; children; sons, Mark Annon and Matt Annon; daughters, Jeanne Johnson (husband, Steve) and Judy Annon; grandchildren, Kayla Johnson, Cole Johnson, and Christina Finster; and great granddaughter, Abigail Finster. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
