Luis P. Cervantes

Luis P. Cervantes, 87, went to join his wife, Adela in Heaven the morning of Feb. 17, 2022. Luis was born on Feb. 27, 1934 in Eagle Pass to the late Modesto and Julia (Ponce) Cervantes. He earned a Masters degree in Education in his early years. In the later years of Luis' life, he worked and retired as a silversmith from James Avery Craftsman. Luis was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Adela and daughter, Celeste Silva.

Luis is survived by his sons, Modesto Cervantes (Maru) and Louis Cervantes; and several grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his quick wit and devotion to his family and friends.
