Martha (Jones) Cave

On October 4, 2025,  Martha Cave passed away at her residence in Kerrville, Texas. Martha was born on July 7, 1937 to Wallace Albert Jones and Rosa Mae Autry (Stover) in Danville, Va.

Martha was raised in South Carolina and Georgia. She married Wayne Hugo Cave in 1957. Martha and Wayne loved to travel. In their years of marriage, they traveled across the US, Europe, and Australia. For many years she painted Texas landscapes and displayed and sold these at art shows across Texas. Martha loved flowers and gardening and her pet dog Dixie.

Martha is survived by children, Carl W Cave (Rhonda), Sherrie L Martin, and Paul R Cave (Dawn). She was Nana to seven grandchildren Diedre Pint, Wayne Cave (Carl), Sheila Rangel, David Martin (Sherrie), Samuel Cave, SaraRay Cave and Emeline Cave Daming (Paul). She had 5 great grandchildren Amber (Diedre), Marissa, Diego, Isabel (Sheila), Kaelynne (David). One great great grandchild Amara.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Wayne Hugo Cave.
