Matthew G McGougan

Our beloved Matt passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on 20 January 2023. He was born Matthew Gordon McGougan to John and Kay McGougan on 21 June 1959. He was
their second child and brother to Tess MacNeil, Michelle McGougan, Martin McGougan and Monica Clayton. He was devoted to his two boys Timothy and Ian McGougan who reside in Ohio and who were both here for his final moments. They and his sensitive and caring soul will be his legacy. He will be remembered as always “there” for us, especially as children, and in any other task he pursued.

He was preceded in death by John McGougan, his father. Left to remember him are his mother, Kay; sons, Tim and Ian; siblings, Tess, Michelle, Martin and
Monica; and nephews and nieces, Jake, Matt, Alix, Caleb, Joshua, Jordan and Emma.
