McKyah Jeff Albertson

McKyah Jeff Albertson, 23, passed away on March 14, 2026, in Kerrville, TX. He was born November 4, 2002, to John David Albertson and Tracy Blakeley Albertson.

McKyah was a graduate of Ingram Tom Moore High School Class of 2022, where he made many great friendships and memories. He enjoyed shop class and tennis, but his passion was basketball and gaming. He was always challenging his best friend and big brother, Eli, to another game. Together they made lifelong friends with their gaming community from all over the world and would later go on to have annual gatherings of “GAMERS” who had been playing each other since childhood.

McKyah also enjoyed road trips to Colorado, time with his cousins playing games, music with mom, and watching Japanese Anime with his Dad. He was a LA Laker and Pittsburg Steelers fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Heather Albertson, Debbie Blakeley; brother Elijah Albertson.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving parents, John and Tracy Albertson; brothers, Noah and Miguel Albertson; sisters, Kaylah Ward and Delilah McDonald; grandfather, Jeff Blakeley (Suzanne); nieces, Scarlet, Olivia; aunts, Kelly Blakeley and Jennifer Shoemaker; uncles, Jeff Blakeley Jr., Mando Botello, Paul Metheney, Steven Metheney.

The family wanted to extend their extreme gratitude to Dell Children’s Hospital Oncology Unit for many years of love, supports and treatment given. They are also thankful for the Peterson Hospice Team who helped so much in the last 3 months of his life.

Celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. on April 7, 2026, at Howdy's Restaurant, Bar & Chill 101 Rowland Ln, Kerrville, TX 78028.
