Melody Lovell Obituary

Melody Ann Lovell, 69, went to be with her Lord on the afternoon of August 10, 2021, at her residence in Kerrville.

Melody was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Ernest and Francis Josephine Roberts of Peabody, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Charles; her brother, Randy and wife, Jan; her son, Chad; her daughter, Katy, and husband Thom; her son, Jeremy and wife Amber; and 6 grandchildren.

Melody graduated from Calvary Bible College in Kansas with a degree in Christian Education. Melody’s professional career began in St. Louis, Missouri with Southwestern Bell/ AT&T. Among her accomplishments while at AT&T were being product manager for Caller ID and leading 1000 employees as AT&T moved headquarters from St. Louis, Missouri to San Antonio, Texas in 1998. Melody retired after 23 years in San Antonio as an Executive Director at the AT&T HQ Marketing Department.

Memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, Sept. 04,2021 at Trinity Baptist Church, Kerrville with Pastor John Wheat officiating. The church service will be lived streamed for family member unable to attend. 

Interment will be at 10:30 am, Sept. 10, 2021, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Pastor Chad Chaddick from the First Baptist Church, San Marcos officiating.   

 In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Peterson Hospice, Kerrville.
