Michelle Bessie (Hollimon) Enzler, 62, of Kerrville, TX, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of February 22, 2022. She was born in Kerrville on October 16, 1959 to James and Suzanne Hollimon.
Michelle, also known as Mimi, grew up in Kerrville, and previously lived in Malta, Brazil, South Africa, Hawaii, and many years in Kenai, Alaska. Alaska is where she met and married her husband, Harold Enzler in 1976. Together they lived on a homestead and ran a sawmill. Eventually Michelle moved back to Kerrville where she raised her sons, and worked for many years at Family Practice Associates.
Mimi was a lover of God, a devoted mother, a grandmother, a wife, a daughter, and a best friend. Mimi was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was well known for her fireworks stand, Mimi’s Fireworks, that she owned and ran with her 3 sons for over 20 years. Throughout her life Mimi loved bowling, candy and jelly making, and enjoying wine with her many friends. In Alaska she raised a garden and some livestock, including a turkey she cooked for Thanksgiving. Most of all Mimi spent her time fearless and devoted to others. Not a day went by where Mimi was not hard working, giving and caring for her friends, family, and everyone she met. Everyone who knew Mimi knows how special and intimate her heart was, and made every person feel loved.
Michelle was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Harold Enzler; parents, James and Suzanne Hollimon; and brother, John Hollimon.
Survivors include her son, Francis Enzler and wife Danlee; son, Roger Smith; son, Jared Matthews; brother, Jeff Hollimon and wife Melissa; brother, Jimmy Hollimon; two granddaughters, Emery and Marlee; and numerous other beloved relatives and friends.
