Minola Marie Anderson, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Ingram, Texas, on May 9, 2025.
Born on September 22, 1958, in San Antonio, Minola was the daughter of William Franklin Anderson and Catheryne May Masters. She graduated from high school in Lubbock in 1971 and spent over 27 years living in Fredericksburg before settling in Ingram.
Minola will be remembered for her bright spirit and genuine love for people—she never knew a stranger. As a child, she delighted in the simple joys of being outdoors, especially swinging in the sunshine. In her teenage years, she brought calm and steadiness to a busy household with her two sisters and brother, always stepping in to help her mother with chores and special projects.
Her independence and outgoing nature defined her adult life. Minola found joy in traveling, especially to California, to visit loved ones. Above all, she was known as a truly happy person whose light touched everyone she met.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. She deeply cherished her time at Faith Christian Church of Kerrville, where worship and fellowship brought her great comfort and joy.
Minola is lovingly survived by her mother, Catheryne Masters, and her husband Michael Mitchell of Ingram; sisters, Tonya Anderson of Lubbock and Mary Ritter of Kerrville; and brother, Kenneth Knight and wife Bernadette of San Antonio and along with other family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Mable Masters, as well as seven uncles and three aunts.
