Mitchell Rene Menchaca

Mitchell Rene Menchaca, 39, of Kerrville Texas passed from this life on April 7, 2026 in Kerrville.  He was born on December 19, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas to Sandra Menchaca.

Mitchell was raised in and spent his entire life in Kerrville.  Mitchell was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for the love and laughter he shared, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who knew him.  He was fiercely protective of the people he loved, always knew how to make everyone laugh, always had a story to tell and had a smile that would brighten an entire room the moment he walked in.  Mitchell had a generous heart and was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.  His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. 

Mitchell was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Menchaca, his father Robert Cantrell and sister Blanca Menchaca. 

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his children, Tristan, Trenton, Taylor, Kyla & Mila; grandparents Jesse Menchaca, Sr & Mary Olivares; siblings Victoria, Robert, Eddie, Valerie, Megan & Savanah; uncles Jesse & Josh; aunts Debbie, Ruth, Esther & Kim; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.

Mitchell’s family asks for continued prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time as they mourn his untimely passing and honor his life.
