On August 15, 2021, Myrtle Irene Elmore, 94, surrounded by her loving family was called home to heaven.
Myrtle Irene Elmore was born on December 07, 1926, in Houston to the late John and Minnie Reeves.
She resided in Ingram for the last 30 years. Myrtle was proud of the family that she built and took great pride in all her children and grandchildren.
Over the years, she worked as a maid in hotels and motels and owned a café in Ingram called The Wagon Wheel. But her favorite job but more like a hobby was running her resale shop and flea market. At times when she did not have a building, she would set up yard sales to keep her resale shop running. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Buddy, Rosie, Wayne, and George; grandson, Ron; granddaughters, Lisa and Cassie; and all of her siblings.
Myrtle is survived by her children; daughter, Shirley; son, Jimmy, Bobby and Ronnie (Paula); daughters/granddaughters, Francis Benson (John Novosad) and Donna Lorenz; daughter in law, Carlene Elmore and many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Her family and friends will carry on her love and wisdom.
