Nancy Pauline Crofoot, 84, joined her husband just nine days after him in heaven on the afternoon of September 12, 2021. Their love was always inseparable, when you saw Jim you saw Nancy right next to him. She was born January 6, 1937, in Bay City, MI to Omer and Helen Morley.
Nancy volunteered a lot of her time at the local VA and was an executive member of the ALA. She also helped with bingo events and helped arrange bingo for special needs.
Nancy is known for being a helping hand and she loved everyone she knew. She was easy-going in life and loved to cook, bake, knit, and make ceramics in her free time.
She is survived by his children, Linda (Wade) Doud of Mountain Home, Greg (Jeanette) Knee of MI and James Dishaw of MI Margo (Steve) Brown of St. Pete, FL, Scott Crofoot of Pinellas Park, FL, Terri (Mark) Charbonneau of Auburn, MI, Tammy (Gary) Sandillo of St. Pete, FL, Charles Crofoot II of Perry, MI; 23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; brothers, Sam (Gwen) Morley of MI and Charles (Kathy) Houghtling of MI, Jean Duprey of MI; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy will be loved and missed by other family members and special friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Crofoot; parents, Omer and Helen Zins; daughters, Cindy Knee and Teresa Knee; grandson, Christopher Knee and Johnny Loughner; siblings, Roy Houghtling, Helen Lamb, Mary Ann Bonzer, and Jack Morley
