Norine Kriso Obituary

Norine Julia Kriso, age 98, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, in Bandera, Texas.

She was born on June 14, 1927, in Ohio to Frank Maloney and Mary Barrett. Ohio remained home for most of her long and full life.

As a young woman, Norine worked at the Statler Hotel in Cleveland as a hat and coat check attendant. It was during her time there that she met the love of her life, William L. Kriso, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in devotion and mutual respect. They later married in Cleveland and built their life together, spending their entire marriage in Ohio.

Norine also worked in the sales department at the May Company in Cleveland, and later proudly worked alongside her husband at their family business, Music City North, in North Olmsted, Ohio. She carried a strong work ethic and a gracious spirit into every job she held.

For the last 8½ years of her life, Norine lived in Bandera, Texas, where she enjoyed being close to family.

Norine was known for her love of adventure and appreciation for life’s simple joys. She especially enjoyed traveling to Barbados, attending Cleveland Indians baseball games with her grandchildren, and spending time in the kitchen cooking meals that brought her family together. In her later years, although she became less active, she cherished every moment she was able to spend surrounded by the people she loved most.

Norine is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kriso White and Irene Kriso Dean; grandchildren, Scott and Sean Andreano of Cleveland, Ohio, Sarah Solomon of Michigan, James, Delilah, and Randy White of Texas; great-grandchildren, Justin Andreano of Cleveland, Ohio, Emma and Alex Solomon of Michigan, Andrew Kriso, Zack Kriso, Selena Kriso, and Autumn Kriso, all of Cleveland, Ohio, Aiden White, Avery Bundy, and Wade White, all of Texas, and William White and Cali White; as well as seven great-great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, William L. Kriso; her children, Elizabeth Andreano and William J. Kriso; and her grandson, William J. Kriso (Junior).

Norine lived a long, faith-filled, and family-centered life. Her legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind.
