Norman Riley, 74, passed on Friday, December 18, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born in Floresville in 1946 and He graduated from Jourdanton High School in 1965. Norman joined the United States Army in October 1966 and was honorable discharged in 1969. He served an additional 3 years in the Army Reserves.
After serving his country, Norman worked in oil field supplies as a business owner and operator. Years later upon retirement, he moved to Wharton’s Dock Area in Bandera and attended the Riding River Cowboy Church.
Norman is survived by his wife, Kristen Riley; three children, Kolton, Susan and Tammye; one stepson, James and wife, Delores; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Georgia and Vivian; and one brother, Roy and his wife, Phyllis. He will be missed by many other family members and friends.
