Olivia Ramirez Reyes

Olivia R. Reyes, 78, passed away from this life on March 05, 2022, in Kerrville. She was born on Sept. 28, 1943, in San Antonio to the late Jesusita C. and Reyes L. Ramirez.

Olivia graduated from Sabinal High School in Sabinal. She lived in D’Hanis and worked in Concan. She worked many years as a caregiver for Durward and Dovie Howard and Mary Woodward and the late Robert R. Woodward. Olivia took great pride in the care of others and especially her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco “Kiko” Reyes; brothers, Reyes Ramirez Jr, Reynaldo C. Ramirez, and Ruben C. Ramirez; and brother-in-law, Carlos Tovar.

Olivia was survived by her sons, Frank Reyes (Sally) of Bandera, Roy Lynn Reyes of Kerrville, and Ray Lynn Reyes of Kerrville; grandchildren, Crystal (Phillip Strickland) and Diego Reyes; great grandchildren, Alex and Austin Strickland; sisters, Gloria R. Musquez of Uvalde, Elida Munoz (Eulojio) of Sabinal, Florinda R. Tovar of San Antonio and Eufemia Luna (Faustino) of San Antonio.
