Patricia "Mama Pat" L Zumpol

Patricia L. Zumpol, 84, passed away from this life peacefully on Dec. 02, 2022, in Kerrville.

She was born on Aug. 08, 1938, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Golda B. Blackburn and Charles Hughes. As a teenager, Patricia worked in the family’s food truck in the Virginia Beach area. Patricia was a Ham Radio operated in Virginia Beach. In her lifetime she was blessed with 5 children and 3 husbands, ME England, Ray Zumpol Sr., and Leo Adams.

In 2018, she moved to Bandera to live with her daughter, Tobie.  She would do Trail Rides on horseback with Tobie for the St. Jude Children Hospital charity and was a member of the Riding the River Fellowship. Mama Pat took joy just making others smile. She loved singing and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, M.E. England (2015), and Leo Adams (2011); grandma, Spicy Anne; her daughters, Tanya Pendergraft and Nina Adams; and sister, Bobbie Blackburn Bowersock.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Tobie England, and Teresa Douglas; son, Raymond Zumpol Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Jay, Stephanie, Jodie, James, Tiffany, Calvin, Courtney, Johnny, Kenneth, and Rebecca 20 great grandchildren, 16 great greats and 1 great-great great grandchild.
