Paul Douglas Isaacks, 70, passed away peacefully on July 07, 2020 in Kerrville.
Doug was born on December 01, 1949 in Bisbee, Arizona to Delbert and Eva Louise (Circle) Mitcheltree.
He graduated in 1969 from Amphitheater High School. He was an All City and All State Defensive Back, top running back and baseball catcher for his high school team. He received a scholarship for both baseball and football, however instead of attending college, he was drafted and entered the Army to serve his country as a Crew Chief on Huey Helicopters.
Doug was an experienced welder and mechanic. He loved spending time with his family, riding his Harley, etching glass, and tattooing his grandson, Da’Shawn.
In 1974, Doug married Marilyn L. Aufdermauer in Tucson, Arizona and she preceded him in death (1996). He later married Carol Durn (2015) in San Antonio.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Shannon Hamilton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Doug (Latina) Isaacks, Stoni M. Isaacks, Jake Kennedy, Scott Rodman and Kimberly Ann; grand kids, Jasmine J. Key, Da’Shawn M. Brown, Christian Isaacks, Mark Brown, Bryce L. Brown, Kadin A. Isaacks and Jordan Brown; great grandchildren, Da’Shawn Brown Jr.; siblings, Bob (Laurie) Mitcheltree, Debbie Chase and Tiennia (Norris) Mayben; nephew Delbert Hamilton; and niece Penny Butler.
