Renea Donna Rodriguez

Renea Donna Rodriguez, 61, passed away from this life on November 11, 2023, at the local hospital in Kerrville, TX. She was born on January 22, 1962, in Princeton, MN to Marion (Norby) and Kenneth Hamilton. She graduated from Princeton High School.

In 1982 Renea married the love of her life, Gregorio Rodriguez in Kerrville, TX. Together they created a beautiful family of four with their two children Steve and Angela. She worked for the Kerrville VA Hospital for 32 years. Renea was also a member of the Salvation Army Church & women’s group and would often volunteer at the Salvation Army and Junction House. She was a woman of God who loved helping people any chance she got.

Her family knows her as an amazing cook and a woman who loved serving the Lord. She would always be doing her bible studies and raised her children to know God. Renea was known to be everyone’s Grandma and one of her favorite things to do was cheer people up if they were down. She loved her family more than anything and was very proud to be a wife and mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Kenneth, Joanne Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Russell Hamilton, Lavern Hamilton, and her granddaughter who will be interned with her, Angel Rodriguez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve Rodriguez, and Angela Soto; siblings, Randall Hamilton, Lee Hamilton, Laday Pate, Linda Gomez, and Tony Tovar; grandchildren, Lilliana Soto, Steve Rodriguez, Gianna Rodriguez, and Nicholas Rodriguez.
