Richard P. Hodgson, age 53, of Kerrville, formerly from Odessa, passed away peacefully October 10, 2024. He was born July 15, 1971, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Janet Davis.
Richard was a proud alumnus of the University of Nevada in Reno. In 2009, he married Teri Hodgson in Odessa, and together they built a loving family. Throughout his career, Richard worked for James Avery, Nabors, Cintas, and Lowe's, where he was known for his strong work ethic and camaraderie.
A man of many interests, Richard enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with cars, photography, and constructing 3D printing designs. He was also an avid online gamer and fantasy football enthusiast, and he even embraced the thrill of skydiving. Above all else, he cherished the time spent with his family.
Richard is survived by his beloved spouse, Teri; his children, Draven Hodgson of Houston, Norrin Hodgson of Canyon, Kailea Crigler of Waxahachie, and Jayce Elliott of Kerrville; his mother, Janet Davis of Odessa; his brother, Chad (Victoria) Hodgson of Odessa; and his cherished grandchildren, Kimber and Kinsley of Waxahachie.
