Robert William Rathke

Robert "Bobby" William Rathke passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the age of 66 with his wife by his side. Bobby was born in Lockhart, Texas and moved to Taylor, where he made many friends in his teen years. Later in life he moved to Alabama, where he connected with Sandra, whom he married on March 30, 2010. He always knew Texas was where he belonged, so he and Sandra moved to Center Point where they could be close to family. 

Bobby was known for his servant's heart and loved spending quality time with his family, attending church, making his tasty bar-b-que, woodworking in his shop and hanging out with his dogs, Spencer, Daisy, Jinks, and Cowboy and grand-dog Ellie Bean. Bobby's friendly smile and sense of humor will be missed.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Rathke and Jackie Hawkins.

Bobby is survived by his wife Sandra who he adored; his brothers, Ronald and wife Kelly, Randall and wife Liliana and Richard; his sister, Patricia Rathke; stepsons Robert Sanders and wife Sheila and Timothy Ford; stepdaughter, Kambra Perrin and fiance, Dustin Prophet; bonus son; Robert LaGrotta; grandchildren, Kaden Perrin, Lauren Sanders, Lilly Rose Ford and Kieran Ford, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Although his departure leaves a void in our hearts, we find solace in the memories we shared and the legacy and kindness, love and dedication he leaves behind.
