Robert “Rob” Douglas Streckfus, 59, passed away from this life on April 05, 2024. He was born on June 22, 1964, in McAllen to Jim and Barbara Streckfus.
He attended Tivy High School. Rob lived most of his adult life in Kerrville helping care for his mother for the last few years before his illness overtook him where he moved to Center Point to be close to his brother. Over the years, Rob worked for Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply and Hill Country Café.
Rob was survived by his mother, Barbara; brothers, Timothy Streckfus and wife, Sharon of Center Point, Michael Streckfus and Pam of San Antonio, and David Streckfus of Boerne; sister, Mary Hull and husband, Scott of New Braunfels; nephews, Jacob Streckfus of Austin, Michael Smith of Canyon Lake and Ehan Wilkison of Bellingham, WA; and nieces, Melissa Streckfus of Mexico City, Mexico, Bethany Smith of Bellingham, WA, and Christina Hull of New Braunfels.
He was preceded by his father, Jim; and brother, James Allen Streckfus.
