Robbie was born in Kerrville Texas to Dale Austin Clark and Dainty “Dinkie” Clark. At the age of 68, Robbie lost his battle with COPD. He passed in his wife’s arms peacefully in their home on December 18, 2020.
Robbie loved his family dearly. Robbie had a great sense of humor, he always would put a smile on someone’s face.
Robbie loved playing music every day. The kids and I would fall asleep at night listening to daddy play his fiddle or guitar.
We traveled a lot, we had so many amazing adventures. Robbie played with numerous musicians and famous artists through the years. Robbie loved to entertain people and he was good at it. You can feel the heart and soul in his performances. There are so many great stories to tell of his journey in the music business.
Robbie is preceded in death by his parents, Dale & Dainty Clark and his brother, Larry Clark; Clarence Austin & Ethel Izora Clark (grandparents), Bob Allen Clark (son), Shelley Marie Clark Baker (daughter), and Abigail Clark (granddaughter).
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 48 years, Darlene Clark; Shane Allen Clark (son); Jennifer Lynn Ramirez (daughter) & her husband, Johnny Ramirez, Christopher Joe Clark (son); Timothy Dale Clark (son) & wife, Maria Elise Clark; Helen & Rick Ferguson, Rosie & Tommy Duckett. His sister, Debra Ann Rice & Mickey Rice & family. Many cousins he loved; grandsons: Matthew Henry, Nathaniel Henry, Cody Blanton Baker & Brendan Lee Clark; granddaughter: Kabrianna Henry; great-grandsons: Noah Henry & Nxyson Henry
