Roberta Epley - McGee

Roberta Epley passed gently to everlasting peace on June 2, 2024, in Peabody, Kansas.

Roberta was born on Tuesday, June 30, 1931, in Wood River, Nebraska to Alec Anderson and Grace (Dixon) Anderson. A tireless worker, Roberta was devoted to her families.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasanton, Nebraska before moving to Texas to live with her daughter, Bobbie.  She later moved with her daughter to Peabody, KS.

She enjoyed spending time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as gardening and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira T. McGee, her second husband, Donald Epley, last-born daughter Robbie McGee Epley, stepdaughter, Vickie McGee Miller; stepson Rick Epley; siblings Darrell Duwain Anderson, Sidney Hugh Anderson, Irene Dorothy Anderson Whittier, and Albert Alfred Anderson, her mother, Grace Dixon Anderson and father, Alec Anderson.

She is survived by her natural-born children, Bobbie J. McGee, Gary T. McGee and spouse Mary (Young) McGee; Nathan J. McGee and spouse Laura (Schmidt) McGee, and stepdaughters from her marriage to Ira McGee: Carol McGee Heine and spouse Calvin Heine; and Linda McGee Kuhns and spouse David Kuhns.  She is survived by her stepchildren:  Becky (Epley) Eckhout and spouse Tom, Rod Epley and spouse Patti, and Ronnie Epley.  She is lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
