Rosalie Craddock Honeycutt (Granny) received her wings on March 7, 2024 at her residence in Comfort, TX with her family by her side. Rosalie was born on August 12,1937 to Woodrow and Amanda Abney Oliver in Madison, Kentucky. She lived in Corpus Christi, TX from 1963 to 2018, then she moved to Comfort, TX due to her illness.
Rosalie was a Tupperware Dealer in the 80’s; she always loved doing her parties and meeting new people. Her favorite thing was baking for everyone, especially during the holidays. She always made sure her family had their favorites. Her family always came first no matter what.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 30 years, Jerry Wayne Honeycutt Sr.; husband of 20 years, George W. Craddock(Toby); brother Luther Oliver; sister Sally Ann Riddell; and two grandsons Marquis Johnson and Nathan Haney.
Rosalie is survived by her four daughters, Fonda Teague (Douglas),Tracy Johnson (Richard),Bevlynn Haney(William), Sharon Craddock Watts and partner Nick Hippe; brother, James Mason Oliver; sister, Sue Slusher; and sister in law Betty Barnett. She was blessed with 17 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren , 4 Great Great Grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews as well as many friends that were considered family.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 12 pm to 3 pm at the VFW Post 3837, 12030 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, TX 78410. The interment of ashes will be 10am, Monday, May 13, 2024 at Seaside Memorial Park in Resurrection section at Robert Drive and Santa Fe across the street from main entrance to Memorial Park .
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
