Ruth Ann (Lay) Oyler

KERRVILLE - Ruth Ann Lay Oyler departed this life December 21, 2024 in Kerrville, Texas.  She spent her last few years under the care of a loving staff at River Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ruth Ann was born in Dallas, Texas January 7, 1955 to Charles and Nettie (Cooper) Lay.  She graduated from Richardson High School, then from East Texas State University.  According to her college friends, Ruth Ann was especially loved by them all.

January 1, 1998, Ruth Ann became an enrolled agent of the IRS and prepared taxes at H&R Block for the 25 years of her tax career.  She helped many people with their taxes and was held in high regard by her clients.  She was quick to help her fellow tax preparers whenever necessary.  

Ruth Ann was a member of The First Baptist Church in Kerrville and was fully prepared to meet her Lord.  She was predeceased by her husband William Oyler and her brother, John Lay.
