Celedonia "Sallie" Munoz Barron, age 72, passed away peacefully November 4, 2024, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born April 30, 1952, in Matagorda, Texas, to Eduardo and Annie Munoz.
Sallie moved to Kerrville in 1986, where she dedicated her life to raising three sons in a home filled with love, laughter and the teachings of Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life and she instilled those values into her family, creating a warm, welcoming home for all who knew her.
Sallie created Worthy is the Lamb Ministries, where she devoted countless hours to spreading love, joy, and faith. Her unwavering compassion and kindness touched the lives of many and she will be remembered for her selfless service to others.
Sallie was predeceased by her parents and brother Eddie Munoz. She is survived by her sons Steven Martinez of Dallas, Adrian Martinez and Alex Barron both of Kerrville; grandchildren Marco Martinez of Austin, Jordanna Martinez of Dallas and Maxton Barron of Kerrville; sisters Rita Munoz-Alier, Estella Munoz-Trimble and Rosie Munoz-Westbrook. Sallie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and her legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
