Santiago “Jimmy” Morquecho Jr., 41, passed away from this life on December 29, 2021, in Kerrville, TX.
Jimmy was born September 22, 1980, in Pearsall, TX to Melissa and Santiago Morquecho Sr. He graduated from Pearsall High School and lived there most of his adult life. In 2008, he met Sandra Garcia while living in Pearsall. They got married December 29, 2011, and they moved to Kerrville in 2012, where they continued to live until Jimmy’s passing.
Jimmy had a passion for cars and would do mechanic work in his pastime to allow himself to decompress from daily life. His love of cars led him to work for Autozone for 11 years and then Ken Stoepel Ford for 2 years. Jimmy was also a collector of cars and would always bring home one or two to work on or fix up. Another favorite hobby of Jimmy’s was cooking; he was best known for his breakfast dishes, enchiladas, and homemade tacos.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sandra Morquecho; his parents Melissa and Santiago Sr; siblings, Martin Morquecho (Claudia), Lupita Ojeda, Joshua Morquecho and Amanda Morquecho. He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, and a dear friend.
