Sherri Suzanne (Buckliew) Buckliew

Sherri Suzanne Buckliew was born on March 03, 1968 at Camp Zama Army Base in Japan. She entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2024 in Kerrville, Texas surrounded by family and friends.

During her 56 years, Sherri also lived in Pensacola, Florida, Lafayette, Louisiana, Midland and Kermit, Texas. While living in Midland, Sherri professed Jesus Christ as her Savior and was most recently connected with the Walker Baptist Church in Bandera, Texas.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, David F. Buckliew; her paternal grandparents, John ad Agnes Buckliew; and her maternal grandparents, McKinley and Alice Blankenship.

She is survived by her mother, Linnie Blankenship Diller; sons, Marshall Wayne Buckliew and Matthew McKinley Hudgins; and grandsons, Curtis Paul Cooney and Isaac Colton Buckliew. She is also survived by numerous loving friends, and her dear dogs, Roach and Fancy.

After a diagnosis of cancer, Sherri moved to assisted living in Kerrville. The family would like to thank the staff for their kindness and care of Sherri. The family would also like to thank the staff of Peterson Hospice for their gentle care and skilled support.

The service for Sherri will be a private family graveside at Spring Ridge Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. The family requests a donation to Walker Baptist Church, 8135 Wharton Dock, Bandera, Texas 78003 instead of flowers.
