Sylvia Vela

Our dear Mother Sylvia Vela sadly passed away on February 2nd, 2023, at the age of 61 years old in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on December 30,1961 to Francisco & Celia Vela.

She was a beautiful loving mother & grandmother who was always there for us. She had an excellent talent for cooking, baking & sewing. She loved dancing, traveling, motorcycle rides & just being grandma. She graduated from Tivy High School in 1979 & attended school at Conlees Cosmetology School where she met her future husband Luther Ochoa and not long after they married and was a homemaker and later down the road became an LVN.

She is survived by her Daughter Monica Pilar Ochoa & granddaughter Mila JO’sette Ochoa, her son Jonathon Thomas Ochoa & wife Monica Denise Ochoa & granddaughters Natalee Marie Ochoa & Jade Nadeen Ochoa; her siblings Francisco Vela & wife Norma Vela, Hector Vela, Edward Vela, Hilda Hranicky & Husband Corey Hranicky, Noelda Vela & Husband Alex Hernandez and numerous nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed by us all.
