Tim Reagan Cowden, 74, of Fredericksburg, Texas was unexpectantly lost on December 22, 2024. He passed away at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born in Kerrville, Texas to George Cowden and Jeanette (Smith) Cowden on January 5, 1950. He attended the Divide School in Mountain Home until 1959 when the family moved to Kerrville. In high school, he excelled in sports and lettered in football. After high school he attended Southwest Texas College for 2 years before transferring to Texas A&M in College Station. There he graduated with a degree in Agribusiness. After graduation he worked for a short time at a feed lot, had a fence building company and in the early 1980s he became a full time rancher. Ranching and team roping were two of his greatest passions.
He was the proud father of a daughter, Kelsa Leenette Cowden. He took great pride in her accomplishments.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Kerrville. He served several years as a school board member for the Divide Independent School District.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Cowden.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsa Cowden; brother, Sammy Cowden, and niece, Victoria Cowden.
