Timothy K. Dorsey

Timothy K. Dorsey, Bandera, Texas, passed away September 22, 2023, after a brief hospitalization.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peg Dorsey; three sons, Tim of Austin, TX, Dan (Staci) of Sandia Park, NM, and David (Tiffany) of Pflugerville, TX; nine grandchildren, and on one great-grandchild; siblings, Nancy Cameron (Don) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Kathy Carter of Ballston Spa, NY, Torry (Peggy Dorsey of Gansevoort, NY; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by their daughter, Colleen; his parents, Ruth and Jay Dorsey; and siblings Helen Whigham and Jim Dorsey.

Tim graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, Glens Falls, NY in 1968, and Clarkson College of Technology in 1972 with a BS degree in industrial management.

He began his career with Dow Industrial Service in Mt. Holly, NJ, and subsequent moves brought him to Lake Jackson, TX in 1992. He retired as a Senior Vice President with Hyrdo-Chem after 35 years in the industrial service industry.

His family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Bander County EMS, to the dedicated staff at University Hospital of San Antonio, and to Embrace Hospice for their tireless efforts, care, and support during Tim’s time of need. Their unwavering commitment to his care will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tim’s name may be made to the fine organizations mentioned above.
