Trisha Pawly, 84, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on October 08, 2021. She was born on Jan. 30, 1937, in San Antonio to Clara Virginia (Tharp) and Richard Thomas Pawly.
Trisha was a long-time resident of San Antonio. She graduated in 1955 from Sam Houston High School and during her time there, she was a majorette. Trisha also attended San Antonio College earning an Associates in Arts Degree and then transferred to Trinity University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree.
In Trisha’s early years, her oldest brother, James Richard, and herself would perform for different lodges around San Antonio. James would play the piano and Trisha would tap dance or perform ballet. As a teen, she worked at a Drive-In Theater as a cashier or bookkeeper. This is where she discovered that she had a gift for numbers. Trisha was the proud business owner of ComputeRX in San Antonio until her retirement in 2020. She even had a clever slogan “ComputeRX…The right prescriptions for your business headache.” She also worked for March of Dimes.
She was a fighter and persevered as a single mother. Trisha was a hard worker and tried her best to give her children all they needed. She went to group counseling to search out new ways to be a better mother. If you knew Trisha, she was a straightforward, by the book kind of lady. She had a gift for painting and enjoyed tending to her garden. At the age of 83, alongside her grandson, Charles spent the afternoon flying in his plane and at one point, she got a chance to pilot the plane.
She was preceded by her parents; children, Thomas Upton and Kimberly Wright; and granddaughter, April Durand; siblings, James Richard and Paul Boyce.
Trisha leaves behind a beautiful family to cherish her memory; her children, William Upton (Jaylynn), Bobbi Pawly Yarbrough (Douglas), Georgette LaChapelle-Brewer (William) and Thomas Nelson (Brenda); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, Christine, TJ, Charles, Billy, Jason, Travis, Isabell, Natalie, Christa, and Thomas Richard; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; siblings, Richard Thomas Pawly III, Faye Crossett, John Michael Pawly, and Nancy McCallum.
