Wanda Sandlin Obituary

Wanda L. Sandlin, 77, went to join her late husband, Wyman Sandlin and her parents, Louise and Homer Tallant in heaven on July 24, 2020. She was born on Nov. 06, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas.

Wanda taught in elementary education for Victoria ISD and retired from Gonzales ISD. She loved animals and dedicated her time to help with the Humane Society. She always stated that animals are people too.

She is survived by her sister, Jo Ann Falkenberg; nieces, Deborah Evans and Dana Anderson; nephew, Kevin Smith (Clara); great niece, Lindsey; great nephews, Eric, Patrick, Matthew and Travis; 1 great-great niece and 3 great great nephews; and her furry companion, “her child” Sam.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Freeman Fritts Animal Shelter or your favorite pet charity.
