I can not express completely in words all the gratitude I have for Melissa and Wright Funeral Parlor. From the moment they picked up the phone and comforted me through the difficult process of losing my mother to the amazing, loving and personalized funeral service they created, they made this journey so stress-free and smooth.
The creation of the tribute video, the beautiful obituary card, and the gorgeous flower arrangement for her urn greeted our attendees who immediately remarked at how lovely it looked. Melissa captured my mother and presented her life in a respectful, joyful way.
Melissa’s customer service was so attentive. I was amazed at how quickly she would respond to my endless questions and changes with patience and ease.

My mother, Ruthann Brown passed away unexpectedly in Austin at St David’s hospital. My Brother Jake called Melissa to let her know that mom passed away. I would like to start out with how caring and professional Melissa treats you during this time of loss. From explaining how everything works to the final services. She was so wonderful with helping us through every step. She helped us pick beautiful urns, set up the gorgeous slide show with pictures and music. She put everything together with loving care and setup everything at our choice of location so beautifully. Wright’s Funeral Parlor aided with my mom’s passing with the utmost care and compassion for both my family and my mom. The staff there was phenomenal in making sure that the way we wanted to honor my mom was a reality. They were really responsive in communications and managed an out of town burial with ease. The service was exactly what we wanted and Wright’s was definitely a major contributor.
